Your subscription

Cabana is one subscription with everything in it. You pick yearly or monthly when you make your account, and the people you share with come along free.

Updated on 4 October 2026

What it costs

£29.99 a year or £2.99 a month. The checkout shows you the price in your own currency if we sell in it (US, Canadian and Australian dollars, and euros), and charges pounds everywhere else. What it costs has every price and how tax works where you are.

Your first subscription starts with a free month. Nothing's charged until it's up, you're reminded before it is, and if you cancel before then you pay nothing.

Subscribing

  • Straight after you make your account, Cabana asks you to pick yearly or monthly, on the website and in the app alike.
  • Looked around first? On the website, open your account menu, then Account and privacy, and look under Subscription. In the iPhone or Android app, open the More menu and press Subscribe.

It's the same subscription wherever you buy it, and it covers the same people. If you already pay on the website, the app won't try to sell you a second one.

Who takes the payment

Whoever sold it to you, and that depends on where you pressed subscribe.

  • On the website it's Paddle. They're the merchant of record, so the receipt comes from them.
  • In the iPhone app it's Apple.
  • In the Android app it's Google Play.

Not sure which? Your receipt will say. If you subscribed in an app, the Subscription section on the website tells you so too.

Cancelling

  • Bought on the website: Account and privacy, then Subscription, then Manage billing.
  • Bought in the iPhone app: in the app, More, then Account, then Manage your subscription. That opens Apple's own list of your subscriptions.
  • Bought in the Android app: the same Manage your subscription, which opens your subscriptions in Google Play.

Cancelling stops the next payment. You keep everything you've paid for until the date it runs to. If you want your money back, Refunds and cancelling says how to ask whoever sold it to you.

If you stop paying

Your plans stay. Nothing is deleted or hidden, and everything you made stays exactly where you left it.

You can still open them, read them, download them and delete them. What waits for a subscription is changing them, starting another plan, and the extras like sharing with somebody new. Subscribe again and you pick up straight away, with everything just as it was.

People you share with

They never pay. A subscription belongs to whoever owns the plan, and it covers everyone that owner shares it with, so a guest is never offered anything to buy. If the owner stops paying, everybody already on the plan keeps their way in to read it, and it takes changes again when they renew.
